Cold Hands. Warm Hearts.
In the “heat” of Winter, when the ground is covered in snow and the sky is covered in clouds, there’s only one thing to do as far as I’m concerned. Play. Play so hard you laugh and smile.
This past Sunday, that’s exactly what we did. I put the pen down. I didn’t write. I didn’t stress, at least not after early Saturday morning. 🙂 I fought through the cold and the snow and the country roads, and took the kiddos to their grandpa’s farm where we built an enormous snow fortress. It did my heart good to hear them laugh and watch them get lost in the great outdoors, at least for a little while.
So this week, focus on the love, the smiles, and all the fun. Change up your routine, do something you know will bring a smile to your face.
Happy Valentine’s week. Smile on through the clouds and have a bit of fun doing something you really love to do.

I wish I could take the credit but grandpa got the tractor out and we all piled in and piled up the snow. It was great! Next time, I’ll remember to buy some snow pants. I’m glad the kiddos had them. 🙂
Sounds like a good time.
Thank you. 🙂
