Yesterday is gone. Tomorrow has not yet come. We have only today. Let us begin." Quoted by Mother Theresa

Recently, life has taken on some sort of intangible new shape and I’ve got nothing brilliant to post this month. Next month, I promise to be back. I wish you all happiness, health, and good spirits as we continue to trot through these strange swirly times.

     Happy Hop Day.

  1. It’s hard to concentrate on anything right now.

  2. I’ve used isolation to complete my wip a month early. The birds are singing in the garden and the cherry trees are in blossom, so I must learn to be grateful for what i have.

  3. You too, Erika. These are troubled times. I am struggling to accomplish goals, too. Hugs.

  4. I too have had a hard time concentrating on writing. I took a break last week. During that time, I decided I could not finish my memoir to be released in June. My publisher, Jude at BWL Publishing, was kind and understanding. (Other authors have asked to re-schedule their releases too.) So now I can breathe, knowing the release will be January 2021. Now my heart is lighter. We’ll get through this. Hugs.

It’s okay not to have anything to post. We’re all having trouble coping. Love the quote you posted. I’m going to share it on Facebook and save it to read on my down days. So you did post something productive.

  6. Life has definitely thrown us a curve, and it takes time to adjust. Your quote is very fitting. One day at a time will get us through. Take care and hang in there.

  7. My brain isn’t working well either.

  8. We all need months where a break is needed. Enjoy yours and see you next month.

  9. It sure is a difficult time. Best wishes to you, and looking forward to next month’s post!

It is one more thing that we are together in it seems!

  11. This is a challenging time. I have so much to be grateful for, I really do, but challenging it still is. Stay healthy and safe. 🙂

  12. Elizabeth Seckman

I think you chose a brilliant quote. Stay safe. Stay healthy!

  13. As with Alex, it is hard to concentrate on anything right now … except weariness … as a rare blood courier, I sometimes work from 6 in the morning to past midnight! I remind myself that Robert Louis Stevenson wrote while spitting up blood most of his adult life. Wow, right?

  14. I find that routines help me write more efficiently. The problem is I can’t seem to find one that I can stick to. I’m always having to switch up what I do, where and when I do it. So in the end, I don’t think I have much of a routine at all. Glad to hear you’re writing–slowly or not–doesnt’ matter. You’re doing it.
