One Perfect Philosophy

I have this image in my mind.

I see a child running down the road. His hair flies wild behind him in the wind, brushing along the top of his forehead.

I see his hands curled into fists; he pumps his arms to help his body move that much faster as he chases the backside of that car.

I see him tuck his chin to keep out the dust clouds circling in the road.  His eyes start to sting. His mouth hangs open so he can keep the oxygen flowing into his body.

I think it was a scene in a movie. Okay, more than one movie.

But in any case, don’t stop running.

Define your dreams.

Set those steps.

And move as if you already can touch them.

  1. Thanks for sharing this Erika. You are on the right track with your kids. They will never remember what the house looked like growing up, but they will remember the time that you spend with them. It will be something that you won't regret later in life. Enjoy every minute you can. They grow up way too fast as it is.

  2. {Said in the voice of Forrest Gump} "I am runnig, Jenny!!!!" 🙂
